We actively chose to move away from ‘exams’, instead deciding to implement ‘alternative assessment’. We were aware of the limitations of trying to replicate exam conditions in an online environment. Cadmus allowed us to stay true to the intended learning outcomes, and provide a higher degree of authenticity and scaffolding to students than alternative tools and approaches.
